About Us

The idea to create Kifu came from the experiences of two consultants who, between them, have more than 40 years of experience in managing non-profit organizations. Frustrated with cumbersome and inflexible older products, they saw the need for a system that was easy to use and that fit with the way they did their jobs. And, given the financial challenges that so many non-profit organizations face, they wanted to create a product that was affordable and simple to operate.

Kifu is built from the ground up using leading-edge technology and a Web-based platform. This means that users can access the software from any computer and do not need to worry about system maintenance, backup, or security. The key concepts in the system – people, events, fees, and statements – form the basis of all membership and financial management processes. By “tagging” or categorizing people and events, Kifu can process many types of activities dynamically, and make the user’s tasks even more straightforward.
